Beckman Young Investigator Program

The Beckman Young Investigator (BYI) Program provides research support to the most promising young faculty members in the early stages of their academic careers in the chemical and life sciences, particularly to foster the invention of methods, instruments and materials that will open up new avenues of research in science.”  Details are found at http://www.beckman-foundation.org/programs/beckman-young-investigators-p....

Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidate must be in first three years of tenure track appointment
  • Candidate must be citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • Candidate may have no more than $225,000 of direct, external support per year of Beckman funding

Letters of intent are due on August 14, 2017.  See announcement for details.  The letters must be endorsement by the relevant dean and by the provost.
